Bush bashing the Blue Mountains
We’ve been back in Oz for about two weeks now, and things are starting to straighten themselves out.
We bought ourselves a 4WD Nissan X-trail, paid the deposit on the trailer for our tiny home, unpacked (mostly), caught up with friends, and visited the Blue Mountains for a super belated Felix’s birthday trip.
Life is fun and busy with new projects throwing themselves at us so fast that I have no time to knit (both good and bad) and one of those is building a website for the incoming tiny house on wheels (known as a THOW in the tiny house community).
One of them is revamping the social media for my parents’ shop, The Angel Islington, which you can check out (and follow, please) here: https://www.instagram.com/the.angel.islington/ Stay tuned for a “yay Instagram” giveaway shortly.
Hopefully this will be just the start of a new and exciting career in social media management (which I always scoffed at in uni because I wanted to be a journalist, but which I’ve realised would actually be a pretty cool job). Who knows.
But I’ve gone a little off-topic.
Katoomba, the Blue Mountains, was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the beautiful Carrington House, drank cocktails, ate a lot of food, and went bush bashing on Mount Hay Road in the ‘new’ 4WD.
Following are the photos.
