Snowy Sweden finally delivers
It’s finally snowing! Glittery, powdered snow that drifts in the breeze and collects on rooftops, cars, bikes, mountainsides, coating everything with a layer of crystalline dust.
I have spent the best part of the last few days knitting and watching Youtube video tours of tiny houses and permaculture farms and it’s been almost painfully inspirational. Painfully because it’s still a little while away.
It’s two months and two days before we set down in Australia, and it will be another couple of weeks to a month before we’re able to start our house build.
Life in Sweden is as good as it’s ever been. Christmas tree undressing and pulling down was just a couple of days ago and involved dancing around the tree, singing about washing and drying clothes, going to church and then returning home again from said church trip. Of course.
I caught it on film, but I want my in-laws to keep liking me, so that will remain a gem for close friends and family to watch from a non-internet location.
I begin ‘Swedish as a Second Language’ course on Monday and will hopefully be finished by the time we leave for Oz.
But anyway! Here are some pictures of snow!
